We recently digitized several layers of data using v.digit. Although
the region was set up correctly, at some point the region was changed
or contaminated somehow to have very odd grid resolutions (153 by 58.3
m). The digitized files are labeled, v.support runs on them without
error, they display and look all right, but they will not export
to a DLG. I modified the region back to what we wanted the resolution
to be, redigitized one of the layers, and that one will export fine.
Is there a way to take existing vector files, and make them recognize
the changes in a new default region, sort of a v.to.vect sort of thing?
I did a v.to.rast on one of the corrupt files after changing the
default region, and it rasterized with the correct grid resolution
but I don't know how to save the vector files (we need vector as
the final form and not raster). Thanks for any help.
