Problem with v.report

Hi,
	We are using grass4.0 on a SPARC2. v.report use to work fine before and
could generate reports. But of late, when we type "v.report" it gives an error
saying,
ld.so: Undefined symbol: _G_window_overlap

	Does any one have any suggestions. As far as I can recall, there were 
not any changes made to the sytem.
