Technical considerations aside, it would be nice if the X display window didn't
erase itself when you resize it (i.e. it should erase then redraw itself).  When I'm
teaching new users they inevitably try to resize the window and then get a blank
screen at which point they get lost (mostly I'm thinking of i.points where you have
to use the menus in the X display to exit for example).

Just a thought...
