*** 2D & 3D function/data plotting!

I have placed g.gnuplot3.5.tar.Z in moon:grass/incoming.  g.gnuplot is
the gnuplot plotting program that utilizes the GRASS graphics monitor.
Hardcopy output is available by a variety of paths (FrameMaker MIF,
PostScript, LaTeX, etc). This version (3.5) supercedes that found in
moon:/grass/incoming/OGI/source/g.gnuplot3.4*

Installation is easy: just uncompress, extract, and compile:
 cd $GISBASE/src.contrib/PURDUE
 zcat g.gnuplot3.5.tar.Z | tar xvf -
 gmake4.1 g.gnuplot

In addition to extensive online help, a manual is included in the
distribution and moon:/grass/incoming/OGI/source/g.gnuplot.ps.Z
contains a short blurb about plotting raster/vector/site files.

For SysV (e.g., Solaris 2) users, please note the change that you have
to make in the Gmakefile.
