I can only report on the Linux side of things: no problems that I can
find. Andy Burnett at CERL has been kind enough to provide binary
executables (though no libraries) of GRASS 4.1.3 for Linux on
topquark.cecer.army.mil. Installing Softlanding Linux is not a problem; I
do it from CD-ROM, but you can order diskettes or download from the net.

Until I run into problems with the Linux system, I see no reason to pay
money for SCO, even if I weren't boycotting Microsoft and consorts.
