Convert ll to utm

I am trying to convert a set of lat/long points to utm .  Can anyon help me ?
Should I use m.ll2u or proj +proj=stere +lat_0=90n +lon_0=90e +ellps=WGS84 ??

Here are my points: 
4E 67N
31E 67N
4E 52N
31E 52N
