GRASS on Solaris

Hi,

It has to do with the fifos grass uses for communication between the Xdriver
and de display-programs. These are very slow on solaris2.3. 
I am currently working on a version wich uses
message queues. As far as I can see now, this is MUCH faster on solaris 2.3
On sunos4.x it doesn't make much difference. As soon as the work is finished,
I will put a message on the list.
