Hi, Simon
I can answer this one, anyway. You can only use the comments command *once*
within a script, or else the parameters are used from the last (I think, or is
it the first?) occurence. I have never had any problem using the "where"
parameter; the catch is that it is in inches from the upper left corner of the
page, *not* map coordinates or percentages from the lower left corner, as the
text command uses.

The good news is that improvements are in the works. Olga Waupotitsch at CERL
and Anne Gisiger here at CAST have been working on fixes and improvements;
perhaps later this year a more user-friendly version will be available (don't
quote me on that!).
