v.in.dxf help needed

I try to input some maps which are created in another GIS into Grass4.1
I have created dxf-files and import them with v.in.dxf, this results in one
new map: test.0
when I display this map with d.vect, I first get some sort of `histogram' 
containing of lines, and after that I see some lines of this map.
Does someone know about this problem, and how I can get rid of this first
lines ?
