PV~WAVE - A MAGIC TOOL!!

Pv Wave is built around an old version of IDL, in fact both products are 80%
simmilar. IDL has evolved more afterwards, while PV Wave has developed more
fancy gadgets. IDL is the basis of very important RS packages, like SIPS
(public domain, developped for processing AVIRIS imagery) and ENVI.
I would not get PV Wave without loking at IDL (+ SIPS + ENVI) first. 
(it's much chiper). You can download it from an ftp site and run it
for one month for free. E-mail to donna at rsinc.com There is an alternative
ftp site in Germany. There is also a joint list for PvWave/IDL, I must
have the address somewhere ...
