why ARC

OUCH.  Hmmm... I was concidering using
GRASS for a low budget AVL project...

before I get started,,, how many people out
there feel Ronald's email "Why ARC/INFO over GRASS?"
is acurate?

what do you think of this?
from what I've seen on the GRASS xmosaic site
the graphics looked ok... but then again, I 
haven't even looked the GRASS demos yet.

I just need to feel that Im spending my time
wisely by going with GRASS... 
what do you think?
