changing regions mark II

Hi all

Thanks for the responses . I omitted to say that I was already in my own mapset . I've managed to sort it out . Grass generated a WIND file in my mapset which
it owned (protection 755) . I got rid of it and created my own WIND file and
g.region works just fine .

PS This might be of interest to people using the spearfish database and their
own mapset to get familiar with grass .
