Compiling SG3d

Hi,

Again some problems of compiling stuff on IRIX5.2 (indigo 2 extreme).
I try to compile SG3d for silicon as it is a good tool for 
visualization of my DEMs. But!

1) I compiled the libraries imagelib.a and panel.a
So far ok!
2) I go to the subdir SG3d and I find a gmakefile! What now?
I have to add this to the local file of my main compileng or can I 
compile it separated! I tried to do it but I got. He tells me does 
not finde the .a files while at the moment I take over the 
definition line I go without problem to it and i find the libary.

An example:
PANEL_INCDIR = $SRC/../src.contrib/CERL/SGI/panel/9.6/include
PANEL_LIBDIR = $SRC/../src.contrib/CERL/SGI/panel/9.6/lib
IMG_LIBDIR = $SRC/../src.contrib/CERL/SGI/libimage/lib

EXTRA_CFLAGS= -I$PANEL_INCDIR $VECT_INCLUDE
PANELLIB= $PANEL_LIBDIR/libpanel.a
IMGLIB= $IMG_LIBDIR/libimage.a

These are the errors!
PANEL_INCDIR: Not found
PANEL_LIBDIR: Not found
IMG_LIBDIR: Not found

But if I do: cd $SRC/../src.contrib/CERL/SGI/libimage/lib he finds 
it and there is indeed the file libimage.a

What is going on here! Any idea!

PS: Or if you dont know give me a place where I can find a compiled 
binary!
