Hi, Ryan

I am at this moment busy installing the software on IRIX5.2. It worked 
well until now but indeed you need some typical adjustments! I reposted 
already some time ago the IRIX compilation notes of Bill Brown. If you 
want you can search them in the archive. If you do not find them let me know!

For compiling the contributions and the related stuff you have to browse in
the read me files and Gmakefile and makefiles! And indeed some  
coorperation would be handy.
