s.surf.tps algorithm

Here are the articles that I have.  I'd recommend starting with the
Math. Geol. one. (Eric - I have a \LaTeX\ summary, adapted to
my notation, if you're interested).  There's also a paper
from the Breckenridge conference (I don't think it's listed
below).
