Nelson,

Another item you may wish to be aware of is the pending availability 
of L.A.S.'s version of GRASS in TCL-TK.  They have claimed that they
have created a version with an implementation of a database capability
built into the GRASS software.  This software is described below by
Gilles Clement who is president of LAS.
