v.digit problems: STILL

Thanks for the response.  I am using (er, trying to use) a mouse to
reclassify some of the lines on the vector file.  I am using a microsoft
compatible serial mouse on a 16550 serial port.  I have rebuilt the
fifos using GISGEN & MAKELINKS, and as mentioned in my original message,
have recompiled the whole 4.1 source code.  I still get the same
problem: vdigit hangs when it tries to plot the file.
