XGRASS DISPLAY ERROR

Hello,

Does anyone have XGRASS up and running on an SGI.
I am trying to run it on an SGI Indigo2 running 
IRIX5.2.  When I try to start a Display Tool, I get 
the following error:

XGRASS DISPLAY LIB ERROR:  Not enough colors available.
Make more available before starting again.

Does anyone know what would be causing this?  Thanks.
