Looking for info on GRASS under Linux

Hi

I want to use GRASS under Linux, but have no idea where to get it. 

Are there binaries available or are there general sources that will compile
under Linux or do I need specific Linux Sources - anyone know?

I'm interested in using it under X. What libraries does it need: Motif, Tck,
Xaw, Open View/Look .... ?

If someone can give me a ftp site to look at and mabey some docs to read
about GRASS I'd really appreciate it.
