The GRASS ftp site (moon.cecer.army.mil, 129.229.20.254) 
now has an "incoming" and an "outgoing" directory 
to hold public submissions.  


1.  SUBMIT FILES TO "INCOMING":

Please submit anything GRASS-related that you wish
to put on the ftp site in the grass "incoming" directory.
The "incoming" directory is writable, but is not readable
unless you know the name of the file you're seeking.


2.  DOWNLOAD FILES FROM "OUTGOING":

Any items found in the "incoming" directory will be
automagically moved into the "outgoing" directory
once daily.  If you wish to download something from
the GRASS ftp site, look in the "outgoing" directory.
The "outgoing" directory is readable, but not writable.

If you need something moved into the "outgoing" directory
more quickly than once/daily, please e-mail your request to:

     grass-ftp-admin at moon.cecer.army.mil


CERL shares use of the machine on which the GRASS ftp site lives
with others.  The machine's system administrator requested
that we make the change in submissions policy and directory structure
to provide greater security to other users of this system.
