Thanks for the information Malcolm - you were correct, I am trying to get 
it to work on our Sun. We have 4.1.3, but I think our IS have done a 
'minimal' update, e.g. various include files were there when it was 
4.1.1, but have now gone.

Could I be cheeky and ask if you still have the binaries for the Sun ? - 
and even more cheeky, is there a way I could get hold of a copy of them 
please  8-)
