Hello Bill,

        as I remember, this XDIGIT  binary is from GRASS 4.1.4. In GRASS
        4.1.5 the "whereami" problem is solved. 

        For the polygon/line problem please try to contact CERL or the
        grassu/grassp list. Do You have the same result in using v.digit.
