How to convert datum: m.datum.shift? What is dx,dy,dz?

Hi.  I have a set of approx. 500 geographic coordinates taken with a GPS
set to datum WGS 84  that I would like to convert to Everest 1830. Is
m.datum.shift the best way to do this?  Parameters dx, dy, dz are required,
however the documentation only explains these are constants, but not what
are there values, or how to derive them.  Any help would be appreciated.
