"User's Manual for MAPGEN (UNIX version): a method of
transforming digital cartographic data to a map,",
G.I. Evenden, J.M. Botbol, USGS Open-File Report 85-706, 58p.
Out of date but provides basic operational concepts of the
system. Refer to current 'man' files for modern usage.
The original 1985 MAPGEN manual must be secured from:
