first time for lat-long

GRASShoppers:

I am preparing to use the lat-long projection in GRASS for the first time.

My understanding is that not all GRASS tools will work with lat-long.

Which common GRASS tools can I expect to have to do without in this new
projection?

Any experiences or war stories are invited ...
