Latest Grass version/Solaris 2.3

  We are currently running Grass 4.1(possibly with no updates) on a Sparc-
station 2 with Solaris 2.3.
   We are not able to use v.digit with an Altek digitizer.
   Is Grass 4.1 with 5 updates the latest version of Grass or is there a more
 recent version from what source?
    If I spend the time to install the 5 updates to 4.1, or a newer version,
  will I be able to use v.digit with an Altek digitizer?
