Converting Grass raster to GIF or TIFF

Try to find r.out.ppm
This converts a grass raster to a portable pixmap. Then use xv or the 
pbmplus (newer version is netplus) package to convert it to whatever you 
want (gif,tif,jpeg,ps ...).

I think r.out.ppm is available on moon in /grass/incoming
