Hello Grass users
I'm Enric Ortega from Barcelona (Spain) and I am trying to learn Grass with
my Linux box. This is my first message to the list so I think my question
won't be the same question of all the begginers :-) .
I have download Grass and "Grass Seeds. A begginer's tutorial". Grass is up
and running, but now I want to do the tutorial.
I have all the docs of the tutorial in WP format, but when I tried to
decompress the data of Leicestershire (the file named leics.tar.Z) I got and
error. It seems the file is corrupted. I have gotten the error with the
Linux box and Winzip for Windows 95 so I downloaded the file again, but I
got the same error.
I have used Netscape 2.02 for Win 95 (english version) with the option "Save
this Link as ..." because I don't know any ftp place for download it with
and ftp program.
Do you know if the file is corrupted or if anybody have found the same
error?. Are there any solution?. If there is any ftp place to get the file,
please tell me where and I'll try to use another program to download it.
If there isn't any solution, could you recommend me another tutorial with
data?, I have tried to use the data of all the world, but probably I don't
do it very well because I decompress the file without errors but I don't
find any data there.
Thank you in advanced.
Enric.
