dear friends:
what I wrote this morning (included below) was inaccurate. I based that
on what the list server sent me when I subscribed back in 1969. things
have changed, and now a new list server program ("majordomo") is in charge.
1. commands to the list server program are now sent in the body of the
email, not in the subject line.
2. you don't need to give your real name in the subscribe command.
(you can give an email address, though).
In the description below items contained in []'s are optional. When
providing the item, do not include the []'s around it.
User's Forum:
mail majordomo at isis.cecer.army.mil
(in body of email):
subscribe grassu [email address]
( - OR - )
unsubscribe grassu [email address]
Programmer's Forum:
mail majordomo at isis.cecer.army.mil
(in body of email):
subscribe grassp [email address]
( - OR - )
unsubscribe grassp [email address]
--------
meanwhile, more info can be had by sending email to
majordomo at isis.cecer.army.mil
with the word
help
in the message body.
