Hola  Silvina

 pienso que en http://www.cecer.army.mil/grass/ puedes encontrar mucha
  informacion que te sera de utilidad (no solo los manuales).
 Yo tambien soy Argentina pero de la Universidad del Litoral (Santa Fe),
 tambien estoy trabajando con GRASS en Linux desde hace ya un tiempo. Asi 
 que si te puedo ayudar en algo no dudes en preguntarme. Saludos,
