Hi,
I would like to import floating point files into grass. Using r.in.ascii
gives a core dump. Probably due to the volume of the files! Therefor I
would like to import the data by just creating the needed header! I made
a dummy file in the cell dir and putted the fp images in fcell! I created
f_format in the subdir of the file in cell_misc! No problem up to that stage!
BTW I gave -1 as the format in the header file!
BUT now I want to run
r.support! He gives an empty raster map? This looks normal BUT THAN!!!!
He gives a warning can not write f_range file !!!!!
Even doing a touch of f_range in the cell_misc he is still not able to
write this file!
Here come the question!
1) Who imported already fp files in this way! Is there a similar way to
import data
2)Is there a program to import binary fp data?
Thanks Bart
