best RGB contrast

Hi all

I'm working with GRASS installed on a PC/486 with a T9000 (Trident 900) 
video card, 8MB RAM... The GRASS area running fine but the quality of
i.composite output is bad? What can I do? I know several packages
the permit you change de histogram distribution, etc. and the
result is very good...

If do you have any sugestion, please, send it in this list...
