mapgen ???

I checked - it's on the moon as grass/outgoing/barscale.sh.Z.
What it does is create a vector barscale, along with a file that has the 
appropriate instructions for ps.map to generate numbering and text. This 
can be pasted directly into your ps.map instruction file, or simply read 
in by using the "read" command in ps.map.
