Hi Hervé,

Maybe you should go to the NIMA's page (National Imagery & Mapping Agency,
USA) : 
                www.nima.mil/geospatial/SW_TOOLS/ 

There you will find their own free software to extract the type of data you
want.

You should look for the World Vector Shoreline-Vector Product Format or the
World Vector Shoreline databases.

With the free software they offer you should be able to convert those data
to Grass
