Graphics-Monitor won't start

Hello !
When attempting to start the graphics-monitor with the d.mon start=x0 command
I receive the following messages:
On the bash-prompt without X:

Graph_Set: Can't open

On the bash-prompt in a X window:

BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 78 (C-Create_Colormap)
Serial number of failed request: 78
Current serial number of output stream: 79

What's the matter with my GRASS-Installation (Linux binary version) ?
Can you help me ?
