importing raster files from Idrisi4.0 for DOS

Hi Don:

I had ran r.support which did several things like rebuilding header file, 
category, color table, etc. It didn't work. I am doubtful about the compression 
of the file. I read somewhere that GRASS does not work with compressed idrisi 
files. But I don't know how to de-compress the files.
