Use the USGS PROJ command to convert your sites. Download the following
tar file from:

ftp ftp.itc.nrcs.usda.gov:applications/mapgen/GRASS_SOFT/proj.sites.tar.gz
ftp ftp.itc.nrcs.usda.gov:applications/mapgen/GRASS_SOFT/README.proj.sites

ftp.itc.nrcs.usda.gov = 162.79.104.20

usage: proj.sites file outfile proj ellps other

where:
file is the name of the site_lists file to project
outfile is the full path name for the new projected site file
proj is the output projection abbreviation (use proj -lp for projection names)
ellps is the output ellipsoid abbreviation (use proj -le for ellipsoid names)
other are other projection options in the proj key word format
      (for example: +zone= +lat_0= +lon_0= +lat_1= +lat_2= +lon_1= +lon_2=
       +x_0= +y_0= +k=) Note: if more than one option used embed in quotes (")
      ("+lat_0=45.0 +lon_0=-96.0")

The output file is placed under your current directory or the location defined
by the full path.
