Compiling Grass 5 beta2 on RedHat6.0

Had similar problems.  With some help, I fixed some of these errors,
while someone else put together a patch.  Anyway, the patch can be found
at http://www.grasshoppernet.com/~bhughes/patch-5.0b2q-bh2.gz. I can't
say if the patch is built right, cause I fixed the sources and then
posted the changes. If that doesn't work for you, I can forward all of
the messages I previously posted on compile bugs.
