Classification Methods

Hello GRASS Community,

Does anyone know of detailed information on the algorithms used in the
i.cluster module and the i.maxlik module? I would like to get a better
feel of what is going on during the data processing and a better
understanding of the rejection threshold map generated by i.maxlik.
