Linux --- PATH not set

The problem is that when you are in bash(in my case) the DISPLAY
environment variable is set to :0.0 and does not have any ip address...
I looked in the GIS.sh and didn't find any reference to it. Does it have
to be there?

More than that ... they can take snapshots of your screen and capture
passwords as you type them, and you may not notice they are doing it.
