GRASS 5.0beta2 patch

  There's a note in the "Known Bugs" list for beta2 that r.recode doesn't
recognise the 'help' request.  This is one of my bugs, and there is a
patch for it on my webpage at http://www.grasshoppernet.com/~bhughes
The patch also has some other clean-up, but I'm too lazy to separate it
out.  Enjoy.

  I'd also like to remind any Alpha-users that there is a native-sized
dataset on that page if you want to try GRASS before the Portable
Formats are properly supported.  (Real Soon Now, really.  Or not.)
