importing imagine raster files

Hello,
I am trying to import ERDAS imagine (*.img) file into the grass5beta8 with
no success. File is floating point and represents the DEM. I am using
Imagine 8.4 and I don't want to use GRASS export format, because I don't
want to lose floating point (Imagine.img > GRASS.bin produces integer
raster file). What Imagine export format do you use to bring floating
point data from Imagine to GRASS?
