Another NVIZ Bug?

Dear Markus,

Sorry to bother you again, but I seem to have found another bug. I am not
sure if it is Linux based or more general:

when I start NVIZ, go to the 'Surfaces' panel, and click the 'New' button,
I get an error. Once again, I have fixed this in my version, but am not
sure if this is a bug that is unique to me, or if other users experience it
as well.

Any insights would be welcome...
