[GRASSLIST:1120] monitor management unstable

After compiling the CVS tree, the monitor management seems unstable on my 
machine. TclTkGrass has actually crashed a few times, for example when I try 
to stop a monitor. The connection to the monitors seem to break quite often, 
and so I get "x0 is used by another user".  I actually think it might be a 
problem in TclTkGrass since I haven't had this problem from the console. (I 
was using d.what.vect when the problem appeared, but I've also had it after a 
simple d.vect, d.rast suite).
