Hi !
I have some problems runnig r.wateshed on Grass5_beta10. It processed all the sections from 1a to 6 (closing maps) but then i receive an error message :
ERROR : G_malloc:out of memory
The Stream-segments raster has been created, but is empty.
The basins-label(ba) has been created and seams coherent.
I thought it was strange cause the work seams finished, but i must be wrong...
The raster elev is :
255 cat
Rows 3000
Colums 4000
Total cells : 12000000
Projection (x,y) with res=10 in x and y

R.watershed runs with t=1000000, ms=10000 all the ouput maps and no input exept the raster elev...

I have tried with t=10000 and ms=1000 with the same error and no map created.

All this run on an PII400Mhz, 128Mhz, HD 9Go SCSII, with mandake 7.1/Gnome

Would it be possible for r.watershed to tell the user if the amount of memory is usable with the parameters and the imput map BEFORE running ?

If someone has an advice...
Thanks !!!!

Yann
