Which version of GRASS are you using?

v.geom is in 4.3. It isn't part of the 5.0 release branch.

It is in the 5.0 development branch (at least, the last version which
I checked out), but isn't compiled by default.

Unfortunately, the 5.0 CVS and snapshots include all of the manual
pages, regardless of whether the actual program is present.
