Hi Karine,

unfortunately an entry is missing in etc/monitorcap:

PNG:driver/PNG:Create PNG Map: \
     /usr/local/grass5/dev/fifo.16a /usr/local/grass5/dev/fifo.16b \
     ::any terminal

add this at bottom of file. Then the PNGDriver should be working.

Additionally I have added it to GRASS web site/Linux download in
a small package.
