Mhhh, this is bad. 
g.gisenv is an essential module which *should* be included in winGRASS
binaries. I am quite sure that GRASS binaries (20010312) contain this
module, so above message must be coming from an older package.

We need some volunteers who really try this, probably build a new
binary package (as John is quite overloaded with other projects) and
improve the READMEs...
