[GRASSLIST:1851] starting GRASS

Hi,
I have a problem. I have installed GRASS 5 on my linux (RH 6.1), I worked
before with the program, but just today seems that it is not working. When
I start grass, typing >grass5 , on the terminal there is nothing in the
window, after typing "Enter" I have the following message
[1]+  Stopped (tty output)    grass5
[martingg at yoltzin martingg]$ 

Does anybody a clue?
