Hello,
I am trying to import a shapefile map using the v.in.shape function.
I have the following files:
st97_d.dbf st97_d.sbn st97_d.sbx st97_d.shp st97_d.shx
and I use the following commands:
Mapset <PERMANENT> in Location <Sweden>
GRASS 5.0.0pre2 > v.in.shape -l in=st97_d.shp
Attributes available in st97_d.shp

North: 6584195.000000

South: 1596933.250000
and finally:
Mapset <PERMANENT> in Location <Sweden>
GRASS 5.0.0pre2 > v.in.shape verbose=9 in=st97_d.shp attribute=AREA
"st97_d.shp" successfully opened
ERROR: Point map import not now supported by this module: use s.in.shape
I don't understand this error. What am I supposed to do now?
If I use s.in.shape, I import site but apparently nothing else. How the
problem can be solved?
Daniel
